Popular fund-raiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society attracts teams as well as individuals. Large rally-style event is set for September 7-8, 2013, near Columbia, Mo. -- 20 to 100 miles daily with great support.
The world's original nightime bicycle ride -- and one of the largest -- will be held in downtown St. Louis August 17, 2013. Several urban route choices will be available. Celebrating 50 years!
PEDAL THE CAUSE
Raise money for cancer research and cures for patients at several St. Louis-area cancer centers. October 5-6, 2013, event features Taste the Cause and guest speakers Saturday, five routes from 15 to 100 miles on Sunday.
TOUR DE CURE
Raise money for American Diabetes Association programs June 1, 2013, at the new location: Riverfront Park in Alton, Ill. Rides vary from 10 to 100 miles, with regular rest stops and free entry to Raging Rivers Water Park in Grafton.
TOUR DE STOOGES
This BABES event combines cycling and slapstick on May 4, 2013, in Highland, Ill. Routes of 17 to 64 miles end with a catered lunch and all the Stooges film comedy you can stand.
TOUR DE WELLNESS
Support St. Luke's Hospital and your own health August 18, 2013. Scenic 15-, 30- or 60-mile routes in West St. Louis County with sag and rest stops. Free wellness screenings, too.
