SOUTH SIDE CYCLING CLUB
This group promotes cycling that is accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their level of experience or resources. It advocates responsible cycling and works to improve local cycling resources.
ST. LOUIS RECREATIONAL
This LAB-affiliate group of primarily mature riders offers both moderate and more challenging rides in St. Louis and surrounds. Ride calendar, member area, leader resources, more.
In addition to advocating cycling and other healthy transportation modes in St. Louis, Trailnet offers a calendar of supported, multidistance Classics road and gravel rides, as well as shorter, guided Community Rides that explore local history and culture.

BIG SHARK RACING
Big Shark Bicycle Co. sponsors many of the region's cycling and multisport clubs. Through team training and events, riders can participate in racing to the degree they are comfortable. Big Shark racers ride at almost every level of competition in road, off-road and multisport disciplines.
DOGFISH RACING TEAM
St. Louis-based clothing and gear maker also sponsors a nationwide team of racers. Pics, bios, etc.
Development team helps talented young riders reach their potential. A program of Living Life on 2 Wheels, this top amateur team includes racers from across the country and the world. Site offers photos, bios, results and more.
Collegiate team is a USA Cycling-registered club based in St. Charles. The highly ranked varsity cycling program has attracted accomplished Lions able to contend on the road, track and trail.
MICDS CYCLING TEAM
The Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School run one of the only high school cycling programs in the region. Representing the Rolling Rams, the varsity riders train through spring for USAC road and cyclocross races later in the year.
MOBRA coordinates and promotes amateur cycling in the state and assists in rider development. Site includes meeting reports, race schedules, BARR info and results.
Established under the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, MICL facilitates the development of high school and middle school MTB teams/clubs. It provides training and licensing for coaches and volunteers, and organizes statewide races that emphasize participation and positive sporting behavior. Area MICL programs:

PENROSE PARK VELODROME
Missouri's only velodrome was born in 1962 -- and reborn in 2019 with a major renovation. The 322-meter banked concrete oval is open during daylight hours and routinely hosts structured training and race events.
ST. LOUIS CYCLING CLUB
America's oldest cycling club is now based from Billy Goat Bicycle Co. Originally a touring group, members have distinguished themselves in many areas of cycling. Site includes history, photos, team section, more.
ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY
The SLU Cycling Club is a Division II primarily road team competing in the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference. The Billikens ride together year round and race in the spring at universities across the Midwest.
ST. PETERS BMX

The UFD collective of promoters, trail builders and racers promotes MTB racing as a great outdoor activity for all. Cross-country and endurance league racing for riders of all abilities in Missouri and Kansas.
Team with riders of varied ages (not all masters) and cycling disciplines who maintain active lives as well as a passion to train, race and compete. Site includes team overview, info on training rides and virtual rides.
Open to all Washington University students, this student-run club team competes in both MWCCC collegiate races and local USAC races. The Bears hold group training rides as well as more recreational events.

RAMP RIDERS SKATEPARK

GREAT RIVERS GREENWAY
Tax-supported agency is spearheading a regional network of greenways and trails through partnerships with various agencies and groups. View updates on existing trails, future developments and related events and activities.
Online guide to the extensive MCT trail system just east of St. Louis. Over 130 miles of rail corridors have been converted to trails linked to the transit system. Includes trail maps and rules, hotel listings, other info.

BIKE MS: GATEWAY
Popular fund-raiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society attracts teams and individuals. Large event on September 7-8, 2024 offers multiple routes daily and great support. 2024 info will be available soon.
The "World's Original Nighttime Bike Ride" traditionally hosts thousands of cyclists for casual urban riding in late August. 2024 details have not been posted.
PEDAL THE CAUSE
Raise money by riding or spinning for area cancer research. New location TBA. September 21-22, 2024, event to feature six road routes and two trail options, Kids Challenge. Incentives for top fundraisers.
TOUR DE STOOGES
Don't be a knucklehead -- join this May 4, 2024, ride in Lebanon, IL, that benefits Gateway East Trails. Seven route options from 9 to 100 miles to integrate upgraded Trestle Trail. Hot buffet lunch, Stooges film shorts, too.

BIKE REHAB MINISTRY
This group cleans and repairs donated bikes for local charitable organizations, who distribute them to needy children and adults. Drop off used gear at the church. Volunteers welcome at work sessions.
